About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company focused on developing innovative mobility solutions. As a Site HR Manager, you will be responsible for implementing HR tools, processes, and policies, and will coach managers at the site. Your role involves anticipating and managing the HR impact of transformations, driving change management, and providing guidance on all HR-related matters. You will also co-lead Health, Safety, and Working Conditions with the HSE manager, ensuring compliance with environmental rules, managing risks, and adapting work conditions. Additionally, you will lead the Quality of Life at Work policy, manage the HR department, develop the HR team, and optimize HR organization and results. You will define and deploy the Entity's HR Strategy in alignment with Group, Division, and legal entity orientations, manage the HR budget, ensure proper Job Grading and C&B applications, and lead employee relations activities to maintain a positive social climate. You will also define the competitiveness strategy, manage diversity programs, well-being at work, and local Corporate Social Responsibility actions. Furthermore, you will ensure the deployment and adherence to HR policies and regulations, manage disciplinary actions, and stay updated on legal monitoring. You will own the 'Involvement of Personnel' axis, defining and monitoring its deployment to enhance employee engagement. Externally, you will represent the company's HR function, build relationships with stakeholders, deploy local Campus Management strategy, and organize campus events. You will also foster relationships with external organizations, share best practices, and participate in transversal projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Communications, Business, Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience at a medium-to-large automotive supplier or OEM, or Human Resources experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Prior people management experience required.
  • Experience with autonomously handling a variety of human resources issues, such as investigations, benefits questions, annual appraisals, payroll, disciplinary actions and terminations, recruiting and new hire orientations.
  • Understanding of local, state and federal labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of HR tools, processes & policies, and coach managers within the site.
  • Anticipate, advise and manage HR impact of transformations (technological, organizational, etc.), and drive the change management plan.
  • Co-lead with HSE manager the Health, Safety & Working conditions.
  • Ensure the respect of all Health / Security / Environment rules.
  • Take into account all identified risks and manage them with Quick Response Quality Control tools.
  • Monitor unfitness situations, and drive the adaptation of work conditions to individual unfitness.
  • Lead Quality of Life at Work policy and improvement plan.
  • Guide managers in Health, Safety & Working conditions topics related to HR responsibilities.
  • Manage risk & also financial impacts of Health, Safety & Working conditions.
  • Manage the HR department and act as a Leader for the HR team by developing individual & collective performance.
  • Recruit, train & develop HR team members.
  • Propose changes & continuous improvement action plans to optimize HR organization & results.
  • Define and deploy the Entity's HR Strategy, in line with the Group, Division, PG-PL-RO & legal entity orientations.
  • Build & deploy the communication & change management plan related to HR Strategy.
  • Prioritize, propose & monitor budget accordingly.
  • Guarantee the relevant/proper Job Grading methodology use according to the Group referential and all related C&B applications.
  • Lead Employee relations & all related activities.
  • Keep or improve social climate & relationships with social representatives.
  • Define the competitiveness strategy for the Entity and the variabilization of costs & workforce according to organizational needs.
  • Be responsible for Diversity programs, Well being at work, and lead local Corporate Social Responsibility actions.
  • Ensure the deployment and the respect of the Group, Division, PG-PL-RO & legal entity HR Policies, and the legal provisions.
  • Be responsible for the Ethics & Compliance respect related to HR activities (anti-harassment, General Data Protection Regulation...).
  • Manage disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure the legal monitoring, and the deployment of possible changes in the regulations.
  • Be the IP Axe owner, define & monitor IP deployment & improvement plan to get People's Engagement.
  • Be the company's HR representative externally.
  • Ensure strong relationships with external stakeholders & other representatives linked to HR.
  • Define & deploy specific actions, and/or participate to events & meetings.
  • Be responsible for the local Campus Management strategy deployment in relation with the Country Campus Manager.
  • Be responsible for local/on site actions to organize and animate the Campus events.
  • Create close relationships with external stakeholders (public & private organizations).
  • Share experience & best practices.
  • Participate to transversal projects & working groups, according to the needs and requests from the Valeo organization.
