About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Undead Walking, a site focused on The Walking Dead universe. The role involves building a strong community, producing fresh daily content that includes news and opinionated analysis, and establishing the expert as a knowledgeable figure within the fandom. Site Experts are responsible for strategizing content, producing the majority of daily posts (news, analysis, discussions), and supporting contributing writers through editing, feedback, and topic suggestions. Additionally, the role includes managing the site's social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and engaging with fans. FanSided is a large digital media network offering opportunities for writers of all experience levels.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of The Walking Dead universe.
- Ability to write news stories, analysis pieces, and viral discussions.
- Experience editing articles.
- Social media management skills (Twitter and Facebook).
- Ability to engage creatively with fans.

Responsibilities
- Build a vibrant community environment around The Walking Dead.
- Provide readers with fresh daily content, including news and opinionated analysis.

- Offer readers content they can't find elsewhere.
- Strategize content efforts.
- Publish multiple pieces of daily content (news stories, analysis pieces, viral discussions, etc.).
- Produce the majority of the posting requirements.
- Support contributing writers by editing their articles, offering feedback, and suggesting topic ideas.
- Help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.
