About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Co-Expert for Pens' Labyrinth, a site dedicated to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The role involves building a vibrant community, providing fresh daily content, and being a knowledgeable source for the fandom. Site Experts are expected to offer a mix of news and opinionated analysis, creating unique content. While FanSided offers support, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts. Compensation is based on article traffic and overall site traffic, with rates varying by traffic, experience, and site. Site Experts must lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 articles per month, personally writing at least 20 (typically 25-30). Responsibilities include supporting contributors by editing articles, providing feedback, and suggesting topics. Site Experts also assist with the site’s social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and engaging with fans. FanSided is a growing digital media network with opportunities for both experienced writers and newcomers.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable about the Pittsburgh Penguins fandom.
- Ability to write a minimum of 20 articles per month.
- Ability to edit articles, offer feedback, and suggest topics.
- Ability to help with social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook).
- Ability to engage creatively with other fans.

- Help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.
