About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Broad Street Buzz, a website focused on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Site Expert will be responsible for cultivating a strong community around the Flyers, producing fresh daily content, and establishing themselves as a leading authority on the fandom. The role involves a blend of news reporting and opinionated analysis, aiming to provide unique content not found elsewhere. While FanSided offers support, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts. Compensation is based on article traffic and overall site traffic, with rates varying by traffic, expert experience, and the specific site. Site Experts must ensure a minimum of 50 articles are published monthly, with the Site Expert personally writing 25-30 articles. Responsibilities include editing contributor articles, providing feedback, suggesting topics, and managing the site's social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) by sharing content and engaging with fans. FanSided is a rapidly expanding digital media network with a focus on fan-driven content across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle. It offers opportunities for both experienced writers and newcomers to digital media. Contributors are independent contractors who share their passion and knowledge.

- Creatively engage with other fans on social media.
