About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Beale Street Bears, a site dedicated to the Memphis Grizzlies. The role focuses on building a vibrant fan community and providing readers with fresh daily content, including a mix of news and opinionated analysis. Site Experts are expected to develop distinctive coverage and decide how to strategize content efforts, with advice and support available from FanSided. The Site Expert leads a site publishing at least 50 articles per calendar month and personally writes at least 20 articles monthly, with most Site Experts writing 25–30. The role also supports team contributors through editing, feedback, and topic suggestions, and helps manage the site's social media accounts by sharing articles and engaging with fans. Compensation is based on a combination of article traffic and overall site traffic each calendar month; rates may vary based on traffic, experience, and the site.
Requirements
- Knowledge and passion for the Memphis Grizzlies and their fandom.
- Ability to produce fresh, distinctive content, including news and opinionated analysis.
- Ability to write at least 20 articles per month.
- Ability to support contributors through editing, feedback, and topic suggestions.
- Ability to help with social media content sharing and fan engagement.
Responsibilities

- Provide readers with fresh daily content, balancing news and opinionated analysis and offering distinctive coverage.
- Lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 total articles each calendar month.
- Personally write a minimum of 20 articles each month; most Site Experts write 25–30.
- Edit contributors’ articles, offer feedback as needed, and suggest topic ideas.
- Help with the site’s social media accounts, typically Twitter and Facebook, by sharing articles and engaging creatively with fans.
