About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an organized, people-focused Site Coordinator to manage daily after-school operations at assigned Eastside Union School District sites. The role oversees on-site programming, supervises staff, supports students, and serves as the main point of contact for school partners.

The Site Coordinator researches and applies youth-development best practices to create educational, safe, engaging curricula aligned with HOKALI’s values of healthy living, environmental respect, and personal growth. The position oversees site logistics, including scheduling, facility booking, transportation, budgets, equipment inventory, and record-keeping. It ensures compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, provides site supervision until the final student is safely dismissed, and maintains risk-management standards. The coordinator also recruits, trains, and supervises instructors, mentors the team, resolves complex inquiries, and reports performance to the Area Manager.

The schedule includes a morning shift from 6:30 to 8:15 AM and afternoon shifts from 3:10 to 6:10 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from 1:45 to 6:10 PM on Wednesday. Compensation is $35 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working in schools or youth programs.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability and willingness to complete required online training.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement youth-development best practices to design educational, safe, and engaging curricula aligned with HOKALI’s values.
• Oversee site logistics, including scheduling, facility booking, and transportation.
• Manage budgets, equipment inventory, and records such as attendance, progress, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, supervise the site until the final student is safely dismissed, and maintain risk-management standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise instructors, and provide ongoing mentorship to foster a collaborative culture.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for school partners and resolve complex inquiries.
• Report performance to the Area Manager.
• Support students and oversee daily on-site programming.
