About The Position

Knott’s Berry Farm Entertainment is casting experienced singers for musical productions during the upcoming season of Knott’s Peanuts Celebration. Singers perform their roles as scripted or conceived, remain in character while on stage and in view of guests, and interact with guests in a professional and artistic manner. The role involves working as part of a team to support the atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors, and providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards.

Candidates should prepare 16 bars of a musical theater or jazz selection; contemporary songs are not requested. An accompanist will be provided, and candidates should bring printed sheet music, a recent photo, and a resume. At the director’s discretion, candidates may be asked to learn a movement combination, sing show material, or return for a callback. Candidates should be prepared to stay until as late as 5 p.m. The position pays $20.65 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Pre-employment physicals and background checks are conducted.

The role requires availability for all assigned rehearsals and event dates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays. Singers must be willing and able to wear makeup and costumes for extended periods. The job also includes maintaining cleanliness and safety in the assigned work area, complying with safety guidelines, reporting unsafe or unusual conditions, meeting attendance requirements, and following conduct, costuming, grooming, and other applicable policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Singing experience.
• Availability for all assigned rehearsal and event dates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Willingness and ability to wear makeup and costumes for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check; for applicants 18 or older, this may include credit, criminal, and DMV checks.
• Ability to provide records of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy unless prohibited by law.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned work area, comply with safety guidelines and requirements, and report unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meet scheduling availability and attendance requirements, including assigned rehearsals and events on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Follow Six Flags Rules of Conduct, costuming and grooming standards, and applicable park or division policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties.
