Reporting to the Simulator Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality simulation training that helps develop and maintain the skills of Air Traffic Controllers across Airservices. You will work with advanced simulator systems, assist in the preparation and delivery of training exercises, analyse information, and contribute to realistic and high-fidelity simulation scenarios. You will develop specialist knowledge of air traffic control operations, aviation procedures and simulation technologies while working alongside experienced operational and training specialists. The role contributes to simulator preparation, exercise delivery, continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing success of Airservices' training programs. Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technologies and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, assess and act on information from multiple sources.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others and build effective working relationships.
  • A strong willingness to learn and successfully complete a structured training and endorsement program.
  • Australian Citizen or a Permanent resident as an ASIC is required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation experience, qualifications or studies.
  • Experience in simulation, training or other operational environments.
  • Exposure to simulator systems or aviation technology.
