The Simulator Maintenance Technician (II) is responsible for operations, maintenance, upkeep and modifications support under the Integrated Maintenance, Operations and Modification Support (IMOMS) program. This position may be filled at the Level I or Level II level, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The role involves providing Aircrew Training Device (ATD) student and instructor support, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on training devices and support equipment, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, and component replacement. This includes working with equipment containing high voltages (over 3,000 volts). The technician will also assist higher-level technicians with collateral duties such as supply and inventory control, collaborate with engineering staff on modification activities, and prepare computerized maintenance action reports. Supporting Simulation Certification (SIMCERT) and trainer testing activities are also key responsibilities. Employees are expected to comply with established company policies, procedures, and safety practices, and may be required to travel.
