In this role, the Simulator Technician III will be expected to perform complex assignments in office, on site, field, and laboratory. Projects may be of experimental or design nature. The technician will solve a variety of complex simulator and/or aircraft systems problems. This position involves performing preventive maintenance tasks, assisting in diagnosing and correcting problems, and performing visual alignments on simulators and associated simulator systems. The role also includes running and evaluating FAA Approval Test Guide (ATG)/Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests, assisting the Engineering Team with modifications and design changes, and performing refurbishment and hardware modifications. Additionally, the technician will perform software changes to correct problems, identify and coordinate efforts to correct training deficiencies, and provide customer service support. Logistics duties, housekeeping, and administrative tasks are also part of the responsibilities.
