About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, technically capable Simulation Engineer to help build and lead capabilities in digital twin technology, material-flow simulation, and logistics optimization. This new, high-impact role sits at the intersection of engineering, automation, logistics, commercial strategy, and operational execution. The engineer will use simulation and automation software to model real-world operating environments, evaluate alternatives, identify constraints, and determine effective ways to move material through warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and interconnected logistics systems. The work will inform solution design, customer quotations, new-business planning, improvements to existing operations, and strategic initiatives. The Simulation Engineer will work directly with stakeholders and decision-makers, translating complex engineering problems into practical, data-driven recommendations. This role involves developing capabilities in an evolving technology space and establishing the methods, standards, and tools that will shape this function. A hybrid or remote arrangement may be considered depending on experience, location, and business needs. Periodic travel to facilities and customer sites across the United States and Canada is required. Candidates must be legally able to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Motivation and ability to help build a new capability in simulation and digital twin technology.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and solving problems independently.
  • Ability to understand facility processes, gather information, build models, and test alternatives.
  • Ability to communicate the meaning and practical implications of simulation results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with commercial, engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Comfort working with site personnel and cross-functional teams in different locations.
  • Must be currently able to work legally in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
  • Must be willing to travel periodically to facilities and customer sites across the United States and Canada.
