About The Position

The Simulation Engineer develops radar threat simulations for use in Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) software testing and validation. The work may include analyzing and interpreting radar signal parameters and developing radar signal simulations. The engineer uses knowledge of how a system functions to create radar simulations with the proprietary Simulation Modeling Framework (SMF) language and determines which radar design and functional characteristics affect the emitted signal.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
A bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related experience.
Knowledge of general coding fundamentals.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel.
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Active DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to rapidly understand new technical information and apply it practically.
Experience with GitLab and CI/CD-style workflows.
Experience using Excel functions.
Background knowledge in RF, including antenna theory and RF theory.

Responsibilities
