About The Position

Performs planning, coordinating and supporting program functions. Independently manages a variety of basic and advanced administrative program duties, requiring a breadth of knowledge, skills, and experience, to include specific knowledge of organizational policies and practices, and contract terms and requirements. Supports the department staff on select projects to enhance the efficiency, cost effectiveness, and impact of the team’s work. Coordinates services within the department, the organization, and with various stakeholders across SC (in support of the Mobile Simulation Enterprise. Forecasts and schedules planning for the annual mobile simulation curriculum calendar with assistance from the manager. Ensures compliance with all accreditation criteria relevant to operation including, but not limited to, the American Heart Association, the PH-USCSOM CME organization, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Maintains safe conditions for team members, guests, and program participants. Generates operational reports for use in internal and external communications. Assists with ongoing maintenance and update of IT assets including but not limited to website, internally used databases, department SharePoint site, etc. Maintains survey and reporting data for each mobile activity based on learner/instructor feedback mechanisms and evolving curriculum. Performs the administrative and secretarial responsibilities that are required to support effective departmental operations. Performs day-to-day inventory/financial support including but not limited to invoicing, financial software data entry, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Two (2) years in administrative role.
  • A valid driver’s license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.
  • Driving is required for this position using a Company vehicle and the employee’s personally owned vehicle.
  • Employee will be expected to adhere to the Driver Safety Policy and specific department driving policies.
  • Employee must pass driver training.
  • Strong MS office skills including advanced Excel and Access skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to learn various simulator specific computer software

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with web development preferred
  • Familiarity with research design and implementation preferred.
