About The Position

Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a highly motivated Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the development of new thermal control algorithms. The role is responsible for developing system identification and learning techniques to model and simulate different power, performance, and thermal characteristics in Apple products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar degree.
• Experience implementing control systems in embedded microcontroller environments.
• Experience with Python and Matlab.

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis on control systems or robotics.
• Deep knowledge of system identification algorithms, estimation theory, classical and modern control systems theory, and statistical learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
