Inuuqatigiit Centre for Inuit Children, Youth & Families is a multi-service non-profit organization serving Inuit children, youth, and their families. The Silatuniq Career Counsellor/Caseworker supports Inuit youth in setting and achieving their educational, career, and employment goals. This role involves individualized career planning, case management, education-to-employment transition support, and collaboration with schools, employers, training providers, and community organizations to ensure youth have access to meaningful opportunities and ongoing support. The Career Counsellor provides job search assistance, employment readiness support, and coordination of services tailored to participant needs. Working collaboratively with schools, employers, pre-employment training programs, and community organizations, the Career Counsellor ensures participants receive culturally responsive, effective, and holistic support throughout their educational and employment journey.
