About The Position

Shaner Hotels is hiring a Signature Busperson at the Hilton Aventura Miami. The role supports servers by helping provide courteous, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage service according to hotel specifications. The Busperson maintains clean tables, service areas, and equipment, and stocks the wares and equipment needed for service.

The position also supports the Food and Beverage Department’s daily operations, follows food and beverage safety and quality standards established by the hotel, Shaner, and the franchise, and communicates with the General Manager, department managers, supervisors, and staff. The employee must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Other duties may be assigned.

The Hilton Aventura is a 208-room, full-service hotel in Aventura, Florida, with the Gala Restaurant, Muse Bar, art exhibitions, and banquet and event spaces. Requirements

• Previous guest relations experience and/or training.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers so they understand.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing courteous, efficient, quality food and beverage service according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain the cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment.
• Stock wares and equipment needed for service.
• Ensure compliance with and completion of the Food and Beverage Department’s daily operational procedures.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality in accordance with hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications.
• Communicate with the General Manager, other department managers, supervisors, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
