About The Position

Arias Sign & Design is looking for an experienced, reliable, and safety-focused Sign Installer to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position for an experienced installer who is confident installing interior and exterior commercial signage. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, prioritizes safety, takes initiative, and can confidently problem-solve in the field. Our installers work on a variety of commercial signage and architectural projects throughout Houston and surrounding areas, with frequent travel to job sites.

Requirements

  • Previous professional experience installing commercial signage
  • Current CDL License
  • Current OSHA certification
  • Current crane/lift certification
  • Strong understanding of job-site safety procedures
  • Ability to accurately measure, level, align, and install signage
  • Ability to read and understand sign packages, drawings, and layouts
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites
  • Ability to work six days per week and additional overtime when required

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for preparing for each installation by reviewing the sign package, communicating with the Project Manager and Fabrication Manager the day before to confirm all project details and site requirements, and independently gathering, organizing, and loading all required materials, tools, equipment, and hardware needed for the installation.
  • Perform interior and exterior commercial sign installations, including site services, sign repairs, and foundation-related installation work at various job sites.
  • Safely operate aerial lifts, cranes, ladders, and other installation equipment.
  • Read and follow sign packages, production drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation instructions.
  • Ensure all installations are clean, secure, accurate, and professionally completed.
  • Work safely around construction sites, equipment, vehicles, and other trades.
  • Identify potential installation issues and take initiative to find practical solutions rather than waiting for someone else to resolve them.
  • Make sure all necessary materials, hardware, tools, equipment, PPE, and documentation are accounted for before leaving for a job site.
  • Complete installations within required project timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements.
