Shuttle Van Driver
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Shuttle Van Driver for the Guest Services team at the Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport. The driver welcomes guests, provides requested transportation in the local area, and helps create a memorable first impression throughout each guest’s stay. The role also serves as a source of information about the hotel, its amenities, and nearby attractions and services. The driver works with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences, maintains the shuttle and entrance area, and reports vehicle or operational problems to a manager. The position requires customer service experience, a valid driver’s license without infractions, and availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a customer service role with high guest interaction.
- Valid driver’s license with no infractions.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Ability to work a full shift standing and running to retrieve cars.

Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, sincere customer service and take a genuine interest in guests.
- Welcome guests to the shuttle, open doors as needed, and assist with bags.
- Know the local area, traffic patterns, directions, and commonly visited attractions and restaurants.
- Offer recommendations for other areas of interest.
- Maintain shuttle cleanliness and operation, and report problems requiring attention to the manager.
- Assist guests in securing other forms of transportation when needed.
- Work with other attendants to provide personalized guest experiences and open doors for guests.
- Assist the lobby attendant with keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
- Go beyond routine expectations in interactions with guests and employees.
