About The Position

Auto Warehousing (AWC) is North America's leader in finished vehicle logistics, family-owned and operated for over 50 years. Our mission is to service customer vehicles safely, efficiently, with quality and pride. We are hiring 5 Full Time 2nd Shift Shuttle Drivers for our East Liberty location. This position will be primarily 2nd shift Monday - Friday with mandatory weekends as needed, working from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM. This role is 100% outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license
Must have a good driving record
Must be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles
Must be able to pass the AWC's driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
Walk continuously throughout the day
Able to work as a team or individually depending on workload

Responsibilities

Inspecting, driving, and parking customer vehicles in the yard at the East Liberty Honda facility.
Driving and parking new vehicles in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications.
Inspecting cars to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
Moving vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay locations.
Maintaining yard quality standards.
Training new associates and temporary workers.
Following directions and consistently adhering to procedures.
Adhering to AAR and safety procedures.
Reacting to change productively and handling other essential tasks as assigned.
Maintaining positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
Ability to work in a variety of situations.
