About The Position

Creighton University is seeking dependable, service-oriented, experienced Shuttle Drivers to support campus transportation. This is a part-time, day shift position with 10-30 hours per week available, with varied schedules between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Some weekend work may be available for those with CDLs. This role offers flexible, part-time work in a welcoming environment, allowing you to serve a vibrant university community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (2+ years), with clean driving record
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• CDL DRIVERS HIGHLY PREFERRED but not required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred but not required.
• Willingness and availability to work additional hours, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, and other University vehicles on fixed routes, on-demand services, and assigned trips
• Follow all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations
• Complete required DoT logs and documentation each shift
• Perform routine vehicle checks, basic maintenance, and refueling
• Report maintenance issues, route concerns, or passenger-related incidents
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff
