About The Position

Creighton University is seeking dependable, service-oriented, experienced Shuttle Drivers to support campus transportation. This is a part-time, day shift position with 10-30 hours per week available. Schedules vary between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with potential for weekend work for CDL holders. This role offers flexible hours ideal for supplemental income and a chance to serve a vibrant university community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (2+ years) with a clean driving record.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• CDL Drivers highly preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Willingness and availability to work additional hours, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, and other University vehicles on fixed routes, on-demand services, and assigned trips.
• Follow all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations.
• Complete required DoT logs and documentation each shift.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, basic maintenance, and refueling.
• Report maintenance issues, route concerns, or passenger-related incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
