About The Position

The Showroom Host is the first point of contact for customers entering the showroom and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and engaging environment. This entry-level role supports the sales team by greeting walk-in clients, managing the customer check-in process, distributing brochures, and assisting with scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is personable, well-presented, and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor in a customer-facing environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with appointment scheduling tools.
  • Ability to remain calm and welcoming in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or reception is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers and guests as they arrive in the showroom with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage customer check-ins and notify the appropriate sales representative of arrivals.
  • Offer brochures, literature, and product information based on customer interests.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure prompt customer engagement.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and maintain the showroom appointment calendar.
  • Assist with creating picture books for customers.
  • AP responsibilities, such as opening mail and matching invoices to checks.
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and stocked front reception area.
  • Provide general support to the sales team by ensuring customers are engaged while waiting.
  • Represent the company’s values of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.
  • Answering all phone calls that come into the branch.
  • All other duties as assigned.
