Bathroom Remodeling Trainee - Full Time, W2, Paid Training
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Shower and Bath Installer to assist with safe, effective bathroom installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role focuses on providing customers with a 5-star experience while remodeling showers and baths in customers’ homes. The installer travels from the warehouse to customer locations, removes existing bath or shower features, installs new tubs or pans and wall surrounds, and updates plumbing when needed. The workday starts at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The position offers paid training and an approximate hourly pay range of $18–$20. West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels, with more than 40 locations and over 3,000 employees.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demolish existing baths or showers and install new tubs or pans and wall surrounds; update plumbing if needed.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care to protect the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
- Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
