About The Position
Lacamas Creek Post Acute is hiring a full-time Shower Aid in Camas, Washington. In this Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role, you will provide residents with scheduled showers and baths while offering comfort, dignity, and focused one-on-one care. The role follows a consistent routine and works alongside CNAs, nurses, and therapy staff. New CNAs are welcome, and support is available for employees interested in growing their healthcare careers.
Requirements
- Active Washington CNA/NAC certification.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Reliable attendance and availability for the posted schedule.
- A caring heart, patience, and a team-first attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience; new CNAs are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Give residents showers and baths on a set schedule, following their care plans.
- Help residents with grooming, hair care, and dressing.
- Safely assist residents with transfers and movement to and from the shower.
- Observe residents for skin changes or other concerns and promptly notify the nurse.
- Keep residents safe and comfortable and treat them with dignity.
- Keep shower rooms clean, stocked, and ready.
- Document care accurately in the EHR.
