About The Position

URM Stores, Inc. is currently looking for a motivated Show & Catalog Administrative Assistant to join our growing team! This position will assist in the creation of Shows, Catalogs, and other seasonal ordering events. Daily duties would include working with Vendors and Buyers to set up show items and create sales events in our legacy systems to track store pre-orders. Requirements

  • Proficiency and accuracy in 10-Key.
  • Strong Data Entry skills.
  • Efficient in Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs.
  • Excellent phone skills and verbal communication.
  • Basic math and accounting skill.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Can work well with others, with good interpersonal abilities.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

Nice To Haves

  • Grocery, Food Brokerage, or Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
  • Experience with the following: AS 400- Legacy ERP system, Adobe- Graphical design work, Perenso- Online Ordering Software, BOX – Cloud storage

Responsibilities

  • Support Show Coordinator as needed.
  • Create sales programs and manage data transfers to and from 3rd party systems
  • Set up all Show/Catalog / In&Out items.
  • Review and implement price changes, allowances, and bill backs for all Show/Catalog / In&Out items.
  • Process billing for all Show/Catalog / In&Out fees and charges.
  • Cross-trained to help in cross department support.
  • Communicate with vendors, brokers, customers, and purchasing to ensure correct set up information for items and events.
  • Work directly with Perenso Event Ordering systems on event set up on all seasonal offerings.
