About The Position
This is a non-exempt, short notice, on-call role. Applicants must be prepared to report to work within one hour of receiving notification. EMTs respond to medical emergencies, providing patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, on scene, and during transport to the hospital. This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care, and administering treatment. Firefighter I performs explicit general duty firefighting and rescue, and responds to emergency calls to protect life and property. Participates in fire prevention activities that include, but are not limited to, public safety education, emergency medical services, and education programs such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
