About The Position
NoGigiddy is a digital platform for gig workers, side hustlers, and people building income outside the traditional 9-to-5. It connects its community with remote jobs, surveys, gig platforms, and financial tools, free to access. The Short-Form Video Editor turns raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The editor works with creators and the social team, follows NoGigiddy's visual style guide, and delivers edits quickly. No degree is required; applicants can demonstrate their skills through a portfolio.
Requirements
- No degree is required.
- A strong short-form video editing portfolio, with 3–5 pieces to share.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Fast and detail-oriented work, maintaining quality at speed.
- Familiarity with content that performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Reliability, clear communication, and responsiveness to feedback.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance retention.
- Deliver edits within 24–48 hours of receiving footage.
- Apply NoGigiddy's visual style guide consistently across content.
- Collaborate with creators and the social team on briefs and feedback.
- Repurpose longer content into multiple short clips for cross-platform use.
- Stay current on editing trends, including hook structures, caption styles, and pacing.
