About The Position

NoGigiddy is a digital platform for gig workers, side hustlers, and people building income outside the traditional 9-to-5. It connects its community with earning opportunities, including remote jobs, surveys, gig platforms, and financial tools.

The Short-Form Video Editor turns raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The role involves adding captions, graphics, sound effects, and music; delivering edits within 24–48 hours of receiving footage; following NoGigiddy's visual style guide; collaborating with creators and the social team; repurposing longer content into short clips; and keeping up with editing trends. No degree is required; applicants are assessed through their editing portfolio.

Requirements

• No degree required.
• Provide a strong short-form video editing portfolio with 3–5 pieces.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Be fast and detail-oriented while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with what performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Be reliable, communicative, and responsive to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance retention.
• Deliver edits within 24–48 hours of footage delivery.
• Apply NoGigiddy's visual style guide consistently across content.
• Collaborate with creators and the social team on briefs and feedback.
• Repurpose longer content into multiple short clips for cross-platform use.
• Stay current on editing trends, including hook structures, caption styles, and pacing.
