About The Position
NoGigiddy is a digital platform for gig workers, side hustlers, and people building income outside the traditional 9-to-5. It connects its community with earning opportunities, including remote jobs, surveys, gig platforms, and financial tools. The Short-Form Video Editor turns raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The role involves fast turnaround edits, applying NoGigiddy's visual style, and collaborating with creators and the social team. A degree is not required; applicants should demonstrate their skills through a portfolio.
Requirements
- No degree required.
- Strong short-form video editing portfolio, with 3–5 examples.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Fast and detail-oriented, maintaining quality under tight turnaround times.
- Familiarity with content that performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Reliable, communicative, and responsive to feedback.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance retention.
- Deliver edits within 24–48 hours of receiving footage.
- Apply NoGigiddy's visual style guide consistently across content.
- Collaborate with creators and the social team on briefs and feedback.
- Repurpose longer content into multiple short clips for cross-platform use.
- Stay current on editing trends, including hook structures, caption styles, and pacing.
