About The Position
NoGigiddy is a digital platform serving gig workers, side hustlers, and people building income outside the traditional 9-to-5. It connects its community with remote jobs, surveys, gig platforms, and financial tools, free to access. As a Short-Form Video Editor, you will turn raw footage into engaging, high-retention Reels, Shorts, and TikToks designed to capture attention and drive action. A degree is not required; the company evaluates candidates through their editing portfolio. The position offers part-time, project-based flexibility and is fully remote.
Requirements
- Provide a strong short-form video editing portfolio containing 3–5 pieces.
- Be proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
- Be fast and detail-oriented while maintaining quality.
- Be familiar with what performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Be reliable, communicative, and responsive to feedback.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance viewer retention.
- Deliver edits within 24–48 hours of receiving footage.
- Apply NoGigiddy's visual style guide consistently across content.
- Collaborate with creators and the social team on briefs and feedback.
- Repurpose longer content into multiple short clips for use across platforms.
- Stay current on editing trends, including hook structures, caption styles, and pacing.
