About The Position
Bollinger is seeking a Short-Arc (GMAW) Tack Welder to provide tools and assistance to a ship fitter as directed. Duties may include tacking, grinding, fire watch, and other assigned tasks. The role involves working in confined or enclosed spaces, entering and moving through manholes, and working or climbing at elevations greater than five feet.
Requirements
- Be familiar with basic welding or fitting processes.
- Have a minimum of three months of tack welding experience.
- Successfully pass a hands-on Short Arc (GMAW) Tacker T-join test in vertical and overhead positions; the vertical-position tack must be welded with downhill progression.
- Be able to work in confined or enclosed spaces.
- Be able to work or climb at elevations greater than five feet.
Responsibilities
