About The Position
The 1st Class Short-Arc (GMAW) Welder welds structural metal components according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions. The position requires proficiency in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) using the Short-Arc technique.
Requirements
- At least six months of Short-Arc (GMAW) welding experience.
- Successfully pass a hands-on 3G/4G Short-Arc (GMAW) welding test. The test includes a 3G position weld with downhill progression and a 4G position weld performed entirely overhead.
