About The Position
We are looking to hire dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our local team of Tour Guides at different locations in the Boston Area. A perfect opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and sharing their knowledge of the city and keeping them engaged throughout a unique experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tour Guide or working with Tourist
- Knowledge of the history of the City and surrounding areas
- Individuals that can work independently, be friendly, outgoing and a good communicator
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Take command in stressful and/or awkward situations
- Be able to multitask, be reliable, punctual and committed
- Each Tours requires a commitment to a specific number of hours
Responsibilities
- Receiving guests as they disembark from their Cruise
- Lead guest on Tours
- Attention to safety concerns
- Build your own presentation with cultural and historic information (Training provided)
- Communicating with the Pier Staff as necessary
