Shop/Yard Labourer - Summer Student

Titan Environmental is seeking a motivated and reliable summer student to support our daily shop and yard operations throughout the busy season. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help maintain a clean and safe work environment, assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, and support the team with various tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
- A willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to changing tasks as required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the yard and shop area to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and needs in a polite and friendly manner.
- Utilize company vehicles for pick-ups and deliveries as needed, following established routes and safety protocols.
- Operate forklift and skid steer machinery after receiving appropriate training and certification from the supervisor.
- Conduct accurate daily counts of inventory to assist in maintaining stock levels.
- Perform various duties as assigned by the supervisor to support daily operations.
