About The Position

SMS Equipment is seeking a Parts Labourer - Summer Student for a temporary, summer role. The Parts Labourer - Summer Student will maintain a clean and organized warehouse/yard storage area and help ensure inventory volumes are managed efficiently during peak maintenance season. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, enjoys physical work, and has a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary school and returning in the fall.
• A valid class 5 driver’s license, without restrictions
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Acute safety awareness and the ability and attitude to ensure compliance to all workplace health and safety policies.
• Physically able to perform physical tasks each day.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse clean up and equipment/parts cleaning.
• Daily mail pickup in local town with Company vehicle
• General parts storage yard cleanup
• Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
• Motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as required.
