Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old prior to starting date and enrolled in full-time school.
• Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Ability to work shift work and weekends.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic.
• Works independently with little supervision.
• Must be committed to Health and Safety.
• The successful candidate will need to pass the following clearances: medical, criminal record check, employment references and education verification.

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program, entering or finishing full-time post-secondary studies in 2026.
• Previous cleaning/labor experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior maintenance associated with the general appearance of the Yard Office and Express Freight.
• Heavy janitorial cleaning, raking leaves, ground /building maintenance, sweeping sidewalks, /warehouse interior, cleaning company vehicle, and occasional painting, etc.
• Loads and unloads customers baggage in designated baggage/line cars and baggage kiosks.
• Perform warehouse duties, ensuring local freight is placed for delivery and transship freight is placed in correct outbound cars.
• Assist in the securement of customer vehicles onto designated flatcars in accordance with company policies & procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
