About The Position

RANDALL Architectural Ironworks (RAI) is hiring skilled Metalwork Field Installers / Welders for work that varies between first-shift shop work and third-shift field installation. The team creates and installs custom metalwork for building cladding, railings, displays, kiosks, signage, and way-finding, including projects at Orlando attractions and venues. Candidates should be able to work independently and lead a team while maintaining a strong focus on craftsmanship and safety.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in the trade.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for several hours at a time.
Ability to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required.
Ability to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and recognize and respond to dangerous situations.
Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying tools or items.
Ability to work in extreme weather and properly wear personal protective gear.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
Lay out and cross-check shop setups.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
Oversee installation of fine-finish elements.
Set up, operate, and maintain field welding equipment, including TIG, MIG, and flux-core equipment.
Work independently and lead a team.
Communicate efficiently and effectively.
Follow safe working methods.
