About The Position

Shop Support (#daf7) is a full-time, onsite role on 1st shift (3:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Monday–Friday) in Airway Heights, WA. This position is crucial for keeping operations running smoothly by performing shop support and facility tasks that enable production and site safety. Your work will directly impact assembly and production teams, quality inspection outcomes, and daily site readiness. Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen (must state citizenship status in notes/comments)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General working knowledge of abrasive mediums and grits and demonstrated skill removing burrs without excessive gouging
  • Ability to read and understand precautions, safety criteria, mix ratios, and manufacturing sketches
  • Ability to use mathematics relevant to shop support functions
  • Ability to learn machine tools and precision instruments; good manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow written instructions and stop/ask for clarification when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Certificates for chemical/cleaning processes if required
  • Prior experience training others or in manufacturing planning operations

Responsibilities

  • Perform snow removal in parking lots and support additional facilities or production work as needed
  • Provide general support for assembly, fit, weld, forming, or machine operator functions
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and detect/report faulty operations
  • Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies while optimizing price, delivery, and terms
  • Follow written instructions and sketches; check dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection devices
  • Perform sanding, trimming, deburring, polishing, drilling, punching, and related tasks using hand and power equipment as trained
  • Clean metal parts using processes such as hand-wiping, solvent washing, and chemical cleaning as required
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures and demonstrate proper use of PPE
  • Work under direct oversight and, where applicable, train others based on job experience
