About The Position

The Shop Support Technician reports to the Shop Manager and is responsible for assisting with inventory, deliveries, and various warehousing duties. This role involves supporting warehouse operations, delivering parts to field employees at job sites on occasion, picking up parts from suppliers, and assisting with general shop and warehouse upkeep. The position requires a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, vendors, and staff, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Nevada driver’s license
• Clean driving record with minimal moving violations
• Ability to represent SIERRA AIR INC. in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff, and the general public
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to pass drug test/background screening
• Minimum one year experience operating a forklift
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10
• 2 years’ inventory management experience
• Forklift Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with Warehouse Inventory
• Deliver parts to field employees, at the jobsite (on occasion)
• Pick up parts from suppliers
• Assist in the warehouse as needed
• Help with cleanup around the shop and warehouse
• All other duties assigned by management
