About The Position

The shop support will be assigned to various duties in the Service Department that interacts, participates and assists the effective operation of the shop. The Shop Helper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the tool room.

Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple demands.
Prioritize, and stay organized.
Able to work well in a process driven fast environment.
Desire to become a technician and mechanical aptitude.
Self-motivated and self-starter, Positive attitude
Must have valid Class B Driver’s License
Ability to understand and adhere to Company Policies in all areas.
Basic Technical Understanding
Ability to follow all written and oral instructions, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Verbal Communication, Documentation Skills, Inventory Control, Job Knowledge
Ability to always implement and work in a strong safety environment.
Ability to work alone with little or no direction at times.
Ability to lift a Maximum of 75lbs.

Nice To Haves

Post-Secondary vocational education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains the wash rags and steam clean bay used in pressure washes.
Drain the oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels.
Monitors tools check in and check out procedure.
Manages day-to-day operations of the tool room.
Assists with special projects in the shop such as foot printing.
Performs special cleaning projects and job-related duties as assigned and needed.
