About The Position

MCI is North America’s public and private market motor coach leader. Its products include the luxury J-Series, the D-Series, and zero-emission coaches, including the battery-electric J4500 CHARGE™ and MCI D45 CRT LE CHARGE™. MCI also provides maintenance, repair, 24-hour roadside assistance, parts, and technician training through the ASE-accredited MCI Academy. The Shop Supervisor reports to the Service Centre Manager and supervises personnel and activities in the Body Shop/Heavy Repair and mechanics. The role is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction through quality at the source, ensuring technicians complete work with quality, on time, and efficiently. The supervisor coordinates schedules and assignments, supports technician training and development, manages performance and warranty decision-making, prepares customer quotations, and oversees shop safety, compliance, equipment, supplies, tooling, and inventory.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to supervise multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

Supervise technicians to ensure work is completed with quality, on time, and efficiently.
Prioritize schedules and assign work.
Promote and schedule service technician training and development.
Manage technician operating performance against established goals.
Manage failure analysis and warranty decision-making.
Determine customer payment methods and prepare internal and external customer quotations.
Maintain shop and service areas in a safe, clean, and effective condition according to company policy.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA, OSHA, DOT, and workers’ compensation requirements.
Facilitate maintenance of company-owned shop equipment, vehicles, and property.
Manage shop supplies, tooling expenditures, and related inventory.
