Shop Service Technician

About The Position
The Shop Service Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs Crown and other makes of lift trucks. The position performs assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks, processes paperwork after completing each job, and carries out welding and fabrication work.
Requirements
- Less than 2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical degree.
- Previous lift truck repair experience.
- Welding experience.
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals.
- Industry-related training.
