About The Position

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is hiring a first-shift Shop Operator in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The role assembles and repairs products used in oil and gas operations, including pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors. The operator follows work instructions and safety procedures, uses hand and power tools, maintains a clean and safe work area, and contributes to continuous improvement. Work is performed under limited supervision, usually as part of a team. First shift generally starts at 5:00 a.m.; shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on workload, with weekend overtime as needed. Employment begins with ChampionX and is planned to transition to SLB as part of the integration.

Requirements

Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Have at least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Have working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes.
Be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
Complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

Responsibilities

Assemble and repair pumps, motors, gas separators, protectors, and other products used in oil and gas operations.
Follow safety rules, procedures, and defined work instructions.
Notify a supervisor of manufacturing-process issues that may affect safety.
Use hand and power tools to assemble components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Work under limited supervision, usually within a team environment.
Perform other duties as required.
