About The Position
The Shop Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks, and the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles. This role also involves documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License required (CDL Preferred), or willing to obtain a CDL B with Air Brake within 90 days.
- 5 years of experience with BIT inspections
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
- Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded.
- 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
