About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and oversee its team and operations. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided on Take 5's management standards, oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. Managers may be held accountable for their team's execution of these standards in less than 60 days. The position may involve earning $55,000 or more annually through base salary and bonus opportunities; experienced managers can earn $55,000 or more. Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
- Basic computer operating skills.

- Management or leadership experience is valued but not required.
- Experience in oil change shops, restaurants, retail, or other businesses may be relevant.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
- Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
- Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
- Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
- Understand the shop's financials to drive results and use the budget wisely.
- Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
- Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
- Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Lead the team's execution of Take 5 standards for oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services.
