About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and ensure the team follows Take 5 standards. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided in shop management, oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The role offers an opportunity to advance quickly, with managers becoming accountable for their team’s execution of service standards in less than 60 days. Compensation is listed as an annual base-pay range of $43,800 to $72,200, with potential commissions or bonus incentives depending on the role.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Management or leadership experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
