About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and ensure the team follows Take 5 standards for oil changes and other light maintenance services. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided. The role includes managing team operations, shop inventory and financial performance, while also supporting crew members with customer service and vehicle services. The position may involve working up to 55 hours per week on occasion and early hours.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Prior management experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventories.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary.
Understand shop financials to drive results and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure the team executes Take 5 standards for changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires with air, and performing other light maintenance services.
