About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location. Experience is valued but not required; the company provides paid training in its shop-management processes, oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. Within less than 60 days, the manager will be accountable for the team's execution of Take 5 standards. Experienced managers may earn $55,000 or more through base salary and bonus opportunities. The listed annual compensation range is $43,800 to $72,200, with actual base pay varying by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay may include commissions or bonuses.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Must have basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
