About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and ensure the team follows Take 5 standards for oil changes and other light maintenance services. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided. Managers may earn up to $55,000 or more per year through base salary and bonus opportunities. The role involves both managing shop operations and supporting or performing hands-on automotive services.

Requirements

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position yourself safely under cars.
Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Have basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary.
Understand the shop’s financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
