About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and its crew. Experience is valued but not required; the company offers paid training in its management approach, oil changes, and other light maintenance services. The role is accountable for helping the team meet Take 5 standards and deliver excellent customer service. Experienced managers can earn $55,000 a year or more through base salary and bonus opportunities. The posting also notes early access to 50% of earned wages through the myFlexPay program.

Requirements

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Have basic computer operating skills.

Management or leadership experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as needed.
Provide excellent customer service.
